take a second to think about all the amazing people you know
take another to realise you're one of them

You lift a loose slab and find a Demonic token wrapped in used bandages.

anyone else using davdroid to sync google calendars figure out how to sync shared calendars too? I'm open to using ICSdroid. I'm only using google calendar until I can get nextcloud running on my nixos server...

If guaranteed minimum income and universal healthcare were a thing, I think so many of my programmer colleagues would immediately take low-income sabbaticals to write high-quality good-ui users-first free and open source software that it would inspire tedious "how was it possible?!?" medium dot com thinkpieces for years and years

"If a user uses the rclone sync command to migrate data between different Google Cloud Storage buckets, a situation is created where the full contents of any arbitrary URL chosen by the Google Cloud Storage API server will be silently sent to Google."

We're seeing numerous API libraries that subtly trust the security of API endpoints.

"Google has declined to fix the above vulnerability through their security vulnerability reporting program."

i will start organizing my webring tonight.

here are some thoughts on core principles for the webring, let me know your thoughts:
* every site should list all* of the other sites in the webring
* you cannot do this automatically. it has to be an inefficient organic process over either fediverse or email
* it's fine if things aren't completely consistent. in fact you can do anything that adds flavor to the list of links. you can also omit people you don't want to link for whatever reason
* the core theme of the webring is "we want webrings to be a thing again"
* your website can be any http(s)-addressible page that you want to share
* no zuckerbook/birdsite links

Hi everybody! We're (Roblox) building a Site Reliability Operations team to take some of the operations load off Site Reliability Engineering to give us space to automate stuff, as well as to give us a way to bring people in with a diverse array of backgrounds who might be interested in a career path that leads to being a software engineer or site reliability engineer.

This is a contract role with the potential to go permanent, which is why it's not on our careers page. (Continued)
